In yesterday's article you learned about heart disease, how it occurs and why it is important to treat its prevention as a priority: CLICK.

Today I would like to show you what can be done to minimize atherosclerosis as much as possible…

… that is (the formation of atherosclerotic plaques on blood vessels) but also a few other details on this subject.

Of course, I will refer to the same things that we constantly repeat day after day in order to determine you to do the right thing.

We know that our recommendations are indicated not only in a weight loss process but also towards keeping your body healthy for as long as possible.

And then it is normal for us to tell you:

  • to be careful how you sleep and to go to bed as early as possible;

  • to buy only nutritious foods and forget about junk food;

  • to walk every day;

  • to carry your groceries from the market 3-4 times a week (with your own hands)

  • and do one or two daily exercises in order to increase muscle mass.

And yes, all of these things are FREE and you can start doing them RIGHT NOW.

I don't know if you realize, but what you do now will be reflected in how you live your life for years to come.

✅ WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO WITH YOUR LIFE?

What do you want to become? Do you want to become like those people who are unable to support themselves?

Maybe you will say that you have the money to hire someone to take care of you. Or that the task will fall on someone in your family, who will end up taking care of you just like you were a child.

This is also a way to escape responsibility. Are you a child or an adult?

Unfortunately, we have no choice. An adult must be responsible, and responsibility always starts with oneself. Instead of taking care of others, you can become a burden to them.

And all this happens just because you don't show enough maturity to take care of yourself.

All the beautiful things in life can be experienced when you are healthy and in good shape.

Even those in wheelchairs can enjoy life, but they certainly wouldn't want to do it that way.

Do you know what will happen if you don't do anything about heart disease?

Keep reading and find out.

✅ WHAT AWAITS YOU

  • Little by little your condition will deteriorate. You will start to get tired more and more often.

  • A light 20-minute walk will become a burden. Carrying groceries will not even be an option at some point.

  • You will spend more time in hospitals than you will in your own home.

  • Your loved ones will not be able to see you as often. It's one thing to be at home and another to be in a hospital for days.

  • You will become a stranger among strangers, and that's just because you haven't realized how important it is to take care of yourself.

Don't think I'm just quoting books here.

I saw this exact process develop in the case of my father.

The last 3-4 years of his life were probably the saddest. And I don't know how sad they were for him, but for us who cared about him, they certainly were.

I would get a call in the morning to find out that he had been admitted to the emergency room again.

Until I got that one last call telling me to come to the hospital urgently if I wanted to see him alive one more time.

That was the last time I saw him. I didn't get to talk to him. I went into the intensive care unit, where he lay semi-conscious. He was struggling to breathe while connected to many machines.

I would have liked to tell him I was there, but he wouldn't have heard me. He was fighting for his life.

I will probably have this image in my mind forever.

It sounds like I’m some kind of a "drama queen", but I’m telling you, I really have tears in my eyes writing these lines…

Only someone who has seen their parent end up in agony can understand.

The only consolation I have is that he was sedated for dialysis, requiring intubation, and basically went into a dream from which he never woke up.

So great is the desire of a person to live when the end is approaching that only then do they regret everything they did not do to avoid such a moment.

He wanted to live so much that in his last year on earth, he actually did everything right. He stopped smoking, stopped drinking alcohol, stopped eating salty foods, and took his pills regularly.

Once again, I saw firsthand that we only act when it really HURTS.

We like to delude ourselves that it can't happen to us.

I don't know why he thought he was lucky. He played the lottery week after week his whole life and never won even once.

But what we can do about the past is learn from it.

✅ THE DECISION

And in the end, I think there are two types of people.

There are those who reach the end of their lives content that they did everything they could in order to have a good end.

Standing on their own two feet until the last day of their lives, with their family at their bedside and making the last jokes that everyone will obviously laugh at, having the opportunity to say goodbye to each one.

What ending could be more beautiful? It reminds me of my grandfather, my father's father.

And on the other side are those who in their last moments regret that they didn't do maybe just a little more so they could live just a little bit longer and better.

My question to you is how do you want to leave this world?

After all, this moment will not be repeated. You will not have another chance to change things. How do you want to remain in the memory of your loved ones?

Let's stop the secretions of the lacrimal glands.

I will now tell you specifically what you have to do if you want your story to have a "happy ending".
