I realized I was overweight around the 2nd grade. Around the 5th grade I started dieting and I kept yoyo
In 2010 I just said “stop”. And that was it. I lost about 35 kilos and I have been maintaining that weight ever since, with some tiny annual variations.
I used to lose 20-25 kilos every year during the first 4 months. Then I would gradually gain them back by December.
The most spectacular weight loss I had between 18 to 20 years of age. I was 125 kilos and I became 78 kilos. 47 kilos deficit.
IT’S NO LONGER JUST A HOBBY
People find it funny when I say the following thing: “I regret not becoming 150 kilos heavy so I would know how someone who is 60 kilos overweight feels”.
If you have never been there, you have no way of knowing how life is for someone who is 60 kg overweight. You can’t say you understand that person and you don’t know how to help them.
If you couldn’t already tell, this field is no longer just a hobby or passion for me. It’s an obsession.
I realized, after a lot of studying and from all the experience I accumulated after working with thousands of people over the past decade, that what you put in your mouth will determine:
how you feel;
how much energy you will have;
how well your hair and complexion will look;
how much muscle mass you have;
if you’re calm or angry;
if you’re constantly hungry or not;
if you have sweet cravings;
your level of focus;
the quality of your sleep.
You are, basically, what you eat – as they say.
If you’re just a little bit like me and you like to feel in control, be productive, strong, look good and have confidence in yourself…
Then pour yourself a jug of coffee because today I will present to you the key ingredient for performance.
The day I decided to double my protein intake has changed my life for the better in all aspects.
Today I will explain everything about protein, in the simplest of terms:
how many grams you need daily;
what is the optimal meal distribution;
how to get your protein from dietary intake without ever having to weigh your food.
