What I eat when I travel
Here is how you can eat during your travels and be fully compliant with your weight loss process. Anywhere in the world. At a decent price.
In another life, I used to be a “star” consultant in Saudi Arabia.
I used to implement risk management processes for multi-billion-dollar projects.
I must confess it’s the only job I ever truly liked.
This was to become SATORP
✅ RISKY
The more I learned in the field of risk management, the better I got to know myself.
So I discovered that a part of my way if life is called…
A high appetite for risk.
I have dozens of examples when I simply dove head-first in new projects.
Colleagues over in Saudi Arabia used to call me “Risky”.
I have this urge to insist on implementing my ideas, even with the risk of personal destruction.
Best example: I made the decision to give up my international consultancy career in order to pursue my life’s passion – Body Engineering. Back in 2013, when I made that decision, it came as a shock to my family and friends.
I gave up everything in order to pursue my dream.
My new career path was, in the eyes of those around me, insignificant.
“What do you mean you want to become a nutritionist? All that studying and working just so you can throw it all out the window?”…
But for me, my new career path WAS EVERYTHING.
As always, I didn’t pay attention to what those around me were saying. So I did what I do best.
I pursued my dream. As a crazy person. And I let my passion consume me.
Passion consumed me until I reached a saturation point. For 3 years I haven’t taken a single 1:1 meeting with anyone.
Marathons and triathlons? Did those for 10 years – to the brink of destruction.
Ice baths? 2 years, daily – to the brink of destruction.
Eating eggs? 33 eggs daily – for a whole week.
Over 2 years I have eaten almost half a metric ton of tuna and 175 kilograms of butter.
My coworkers changed my nickname to “Flipper”.
I started writing on Substack on August 2nd 2023. After 9 months of daily writing (about 6 hours per day on average), I am now number 17 WORLDWIDE in the “Health & Wellness” category.
As you can see, I am a man of moderation.
So let’s continue. I’ve read a really cool thing the other day here on Substack.
By now, you know very well that I only write from experience. Never from hearsay.
I always write things only when I am 100% certain they are true. Everything I write here went through a validation and verification process before getting posted.
I will therefore take a moment to thank you for your continued attention. I realize this is nowadays an important commodity.
So you know that when I write “Thank you for your attention” it’s not just empty words.
Back to the matter at hand.
I was a consultant for 2 years and I flew dozens of times during those 2 years.
After that, for the next 10 years, I worked with dozens of consultants. And they basically live in airports.
You know what we say here at Body Engineering:
Those who look for solutions find no excuses.
I found an interesting solution in 2011 and it’s still valid today.
This next part is only for my elite subscribers. Thank you for all your support. A surprise is coming soon.
I suspect that if you don’t support this publication with a measly 6 EUR per month, you’re neither a consultant, nor have money for an extended vacation. Am I right?
