Valentin, I have no will power to lose weight
„Valentin, I have no will to lose weight, I don’t know what to do” – I’ve heard this hundreds of times in the past decade.
For years, I’ve been getting this one comment: “I’ve been reading your content for years and my weight just keeps going up. I don’t know how to start”.
Think about it. I lost weight in 2010. I’ve been maintaining my weight for over 13 years now.
Do you think I would have managed that if weight loss and maintenance would require will power?
✅ SMOKIN`
For example, people still smoke, even though they are fully aware of the health risks this exposes them to. For decades, they smoke while stressing, stuck in traffic.
You do realize that awareness and information don’t necessarily lead to action.
Without action, results cannot possibly appear.
Mose people know that it’s not OK to drink alcohol. Most people know alcohol leads to massive weight gain.
From awareness to action there is always a lag. Sometimes that lag can mean weeks or months, sometimes overcoming that lag takes years.
✅ THE TRUTH
The truth is that most people (including myself here, of course) want to lose weight in order to look good, to be attractive.
What you are about to read below is the result of 30 years of constant searching.
Since I was in the third grade (since I was 10 years old), when I realized I had a problem, and until today, when I am 41 years old.
✅ IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME
30 YEARS. 30 yeare of failed attempts, fad diets, yo-yo effects, a lot of exercise (lots of it, pointless and badly done), a lot of mistakes. This all happened because of the lack of quality information. This all has led to frustration, anguish, fears, but also injuries.
Speaking of injuries, to sum up for myself: 5 knee surgeries, 2 clavicle surgeries, double herniated disk. This all came out of a decade of doing marathons, triathlons, ultramarathons, mountain marathons.
For a decade since I started writing, I have been inviting people to read stories and advice from a person who has experienced it all. Me.
✅ 30 YEARS LATER
After 30 years of searches, I was surprised to find out that this whole weight loss thing is actually simple, pleasant and…FREE.
You read that right. You don’t have to pay a single dime to lose weight and maintain your figure.
If you will read the comments on my Facebook page, you’ll see that there are hundreds of people who lost 5 to 50 kilos just by reading my articles.
My greatest satisfaction is when I get messages from people who write about their spectacular weight loss after having discovered my content.
They understood how weight loss works, they cut out all the junk (sugary drinks, potatoes, bread, unhealthy snacks) and took care of the problem. This just goes to show that reading can indeed cause weight loss.
However, if:
you are around 40 years old,
you have children, a stressful job, and an intense daily routine;
you have been reading weight loss articles for a long time;
you have no results;
I do believe it’s a good idea to join my program.
The rules of the game are very different when you are over 40 years old.
✅ SIMPLE
Contrary to what you’ve heard, you don’t need sophisticated meals, you don’t need to have fixed meal times, you don’t need to weigh your food or count calories.
Just like you don’t need “3 meals and 2 snacks” either.
All you have to do is eat only when you’re hungry and until you are full. Eat normal food: soups and a main course (without bread, potatoes, rice – you know, useless empty calories).
Avoid calorie-rich foods like: sugar, honey, alcohol, maple syrup, agave, sweets, oils, lard, bacon.
Basically, what you have to do is avoid alcohol, sugar, flour, oils and eat normal FOOD.
✅ PLEASANT
I believe it’s very pleasant for you to choose the soup and main course of your preference.
It must be nice to only leave the table when you are full.
It must be nice not to depend on a fixed meal schedule or to have to follow a strict meal plan with exotic foods or foods you don’t enjoy.
And, most importantly, it must be a pleasure to lose weight and not go hungry in the process.
I know all this must sound strange, but it’s 100% true. Read further.
✅ FREE
If you don’t have to follow menus, if you don’t have to have someone telling you what and when to eat, it means you don’t need a specialist. It means it’s FREE.
“If something sound too good to be true, then it usually is” – and I fully agree.
But wait. It becomes even easier and more pleasant. Keep reading.
✅ MYTH: “EXERCISING WILL HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT”
Contrary to what you’ve heard before, you don’t need to go to the gym or have long and intense workouts in order to lose weight.
One hour of intense exercise only eats up about 10-15% of daily energy requirements (I have included: cardio, HIIT, weight training, CrossFit, fitness classes).
Let’s say it’s about 12% on average – we’re not professional athletes, after all. The rest of the 88% of necessary energy is consumed by:
walking, standing, carrying groceries, picking up children, washing dishes, going up and down stairs (~10%-25%)
maintaining a constant body temperature of 37 degrees Celsius, organ repair and maintenance (~55%-65%)
digesting meals (estimated to be at around 5-10% of total energy levels).
What does this practically mean? Going to the gym for 1 hour on Monday, Wednesday and Friday during a week and consuming about 5% of the necessary energy.
Who has the time and energy to have 3 intense workout sessions of 1 hour per week?
And for what? For a measly average daily deficit of 5%-7%-10%?
I guess you haven’t factored in the compensation effect. You know: after you go to the gym, you’ll be so hungry you could eat an elephant. And you will raid the fridge.
✅ SIMPLE 2
What I wanted to emphasize with the above is that’s far simpler to just walk more, go up and down stairs than to break your back exercising at the gym.
Walking is a type of exercise that is very adequate for overweight people.
When exercising at the gym, you need an adequate technique and coordination in order to avoid injuries.
Fortunately, you don’t need a lot of studying to just walk without injuring yourself.
✅ PLEASANT 2
Standing when you talk on the phone and walking are natural and pleasant activities that can be implemented in your daily routine starting now.
Walking helps declutter your brain, it helps you think better, it lowers stress levels, it drains lymph, it helps you get rid of water retention, it releases endorphins.
You can just park the car a bit further from the building entrance, you can walk for 2-3 hours while on meetings. This way, when you get home in the evening, your “training session” would be completed.
✅ FREE 2
In order to have a walk you don’t need expensive footwear. You don’t need specialized equipment. You don’t need to pay a personal trainer to yell at you.
Walking will make your legs look better. And it’s FREE.
The word is out that people just walk their weight off in the Body Engineering program.
I know what you’ll say: simple and free is not cool.
✅ BUT IT’S NOT COOL
If something is free, it usually means it has no value. And if it has no value, it’s not worth it.
Walking is not cool. Neither is eating an omelet, a soup or a main course.
Complex workouts are cool (CrossFit, X-Body, classes).
Eating exotic stuff is cool (avocado, amaranth, Tibetan goji).
Detox is cool (drinking Aronia juice, cleanse diets, anti-cellulite massages, cryolipolysis sessions).
Paying top dollar is cool (for supplements, collagen, consultants).
Being cool is expensive. At least make an informed choice.
✅ TO CONCLUDE
If you really want to lose weight, you can do it. Truly. And you don’t need will power.
You know full well that if you REALLY want something, then no one and nothing can stand in your way until you achieve your goal.
If you don’t want it badly enough (yet), you will keep finding excuses.
It’s still OK, at least you are in the awareness stage. The day will come when you will start taking action.
✅ BUT IF IT’S FREE…
When I explain how everything is actually free, sometimes I get asked why would anyone join your program.
You may not believe it, but many members and co-workers have told me that I offer too much information for free. That people should pay for it.
Many people ask me why I don’t get affiliate commissions for promoting products.
They say that money is deserved because I only recommend products I use and trust myself.
The answer is simple: I prefer losing money. Instead, I prefer gaining a good reputation and building an awesome community.
✅ I LIKE WINNING
I win when I get a message from someone saying: “Man, I lost 30 kilos just by reading your page”.
I win when people stop me in the street and tell me I’m doing a great job. Or that they lost “x” number of kilos and they have maintained their figure for a “y” amount of years. And that the same goes for their family members or friends.
I like winning and I love the intrinsic satisfaction I get from seeing your results. That’s what I live for.
✅ IF YOU DON’T HAVE THE TIME
If you don’t have the time and patience (I am aware that you maybe have children, jobs, projects, that you get stuck in traffic or have an intense daily routine) to read hundreds of articles and you would rather have that information condensed – join my Weightless program. (Coming soon.)
I don’t do any affiliate marketing; I don’t advertise or sell anything. I am always honest, authentic and 100% on your side.
