The pack of biscuits has 1125 calories. The same amount of calories as all the food on the left.
✅ LIGHT BISCUITS (250g)
1125 calories from flour, sugar and oil and no traces of vitamins and minerals.
Nutritional summary:
175g carbohydrates;
18g protein;
36g fats;
0,0 mg Omega 3
✅ FOOD (800g)
On the other side we have 1125 calories full of minerals, vitamins, protein and Omega 3 that provide satiety for a long time, as long as crucial elements for repairing organs, muscles and bones.
Nutritional summary:
16g carbohydrates
140g protein
57g fats
1.000 mg Omega 3
If you’ll add another kilo of vegetables (tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers) to the foods on display, you’ll barely reach 1300 calories.
✅ SO MUCH FOOD
There are women who‘ll say:
“I can’t eat all that food”
That’s very true. With the added kilo of vegetables, you’ll get 2 big meals.
Let’s suppose that you are a bit like me (I have a 4-chamber stomach) and you could actually eat everything displayed in the picture + 1 kilo of vegetables.
You’ll eat until you’re no longer able to breathe and you’ll get hungry again 2 days later.
By comparison, you’ll eat the pack of biscuits and get hungry again in 2 hours.
Same number of calories. Totally different effect.
✅ BUT, BUT
I can already bet I’ll get comments on the following lines:
“But who’s going to eat a pack of biscuits in one go? That’s absurd!”
Not in one go – not everyone is like me. Half after lunch and half in the evening watching Netflix.
No matter what I write, people will think I am extreme. Perhaps this is not the best example, but…
Did you know that 2 hot pretzels and one drinking yoghurt also amount to 1100 calories.
Is this a bad example as well?
Yes, 2 pretzels amount to almost 900 calories.
✅ 1.125 CALORIES
Do you realize that there are a lot of static women with a daily necessary energy intake of 1300-1400 calories?
They’ll eat 1 pretzel on their way to the office (practicing moderation, of course), 100 grams of light biscuits over their keyboard, they’ll eat a slice of pizza with their colleagues and there you go – that’s 1500 calories already.
And all of a sudden you’ll hear:
“Even air makes me fat”
No, baby, here’s what’s making you fat: pretzels, pastries, biscuits, cookies, bagels, pasta, pizza, risotto, that glass of wine, honey, fresh juices, maple syrup, bio agave syrup.
What you are doing is:
eating large quantities of foods that are calorie bombs and would only fit into the diversification of a baby’s nutrition
constantly being hungry
constantly getting fat.
