Welcome to the new season of this HBO Classic Special “Today I Will Be Eating Light” – Yes, it’s that part of the year where we stuff ourselves with literal bowls of cherries.

Cherries are an excellent idea for dessert. But not a whole bowl.

Think about it: when you eat cake, do eat the whole cake or just one slice?

If you eat a whole cake, that means you’re still eating them to quench your hunger – just like I used to do until 2010.

The same rule applies for fruits.

✅ NATURE’S CANDY

100 grams of cherries (with pits) contain 13 – 14 grams of sugar on average.

By comparison, strawberries only contain 5 grams of sugar per 100 grams = 3 times less.

Have you ever wondered how many grams of sugar cherries contain after removing the pits?

This question kept messing with my head for a long time. Now I have found out.

If you have enough money for cherries, then you can definitely spare 8 EUR per month for your sensei in order to have something new, fresh and authentic to read every day.
