There is this incessant question haunting the Internet: „Would it be alright to have a cheat day / cheat meal once a week?”.
You know what I think? From „would it be OK”, the message can easily be transfomed to „it is OK” and then to „I heard it’s OK” to „it’s important / mandatory to have a junk meal every week”.
✅ RESPECT
Those who understood that a healthy life means staying away from junk are never on a „diet”.
🔥 Clean nutrition is more of a respect form for them.
The same goes for going to sleep early, going to the gym, sauna or massages.
✅ RESULTS
People who have chosen to change the way they eat have felt the benefits. And they came about fast.
🔥 Better medical test results, more energy, cleaner skin, fewer kilograms, no bloating, no gastric reflux, and so on.
And I don’t only mean our community members. It’s also valid for people who have been following out content for years and haven’t implemented our proposed nutritional guidelines.
✅ I TRIED IT ALL
Believe me when I say that I tried everything. Ever since 2010 when I started eating Low Carb (the only type of diet that has ever worked...).
I tried eating once a day, skipping meals, 3 meals and 2 snacks, 3 meals and no snacks, 2 meals a day, counting calories, weighing food.
I tried all fad diets and their variations: Low Carb High Fat, Moderate Carb High Protein, carnivore diet, keto diet with a ton of vegetables (or with fewer vegetables), having a Cheat Day or having one Cheat Meal on the weekends.
✅ THE CHEATING MINDSET
What I hear people outside our community say:
„I have a very strict diet from Monday to Friday, but on the weekends / on Sunday I eat whatever I want”.
These are the same people who haven’t really changed their body composition in the last few years.
People who do „Cheat Days” are those who go to the gym and just do a bit of treadmill and spend an hour on their phone.
AKA: zero commitment, zero results.
✅ THE CHEAT DAY
From my personal experience, but also after having worked with thousands of people in the past decade, I can tell you that the Cheat Day / Cheat Meal strategy...
...is one of the most disastrous in the long and medium run.
🔥 There is no Cheat Day in the Body Engineering community. We only have highly trained members who know how to cheat like professionals if the opportunity presents itself.
✅ THE OASIS OF HAPPINESS
Waiting for the cheat day is like waiting for the weekend to relax.
What you actually don’t like is your work and the weekend is your happiness oasis.
The same goes for your nutrition. If you’re waiting for the cheat day, it means you don’t like what you’re eating.
I strongly believe, based on my experience, that long-term success does not come from being “on a diet” all the time, but from allowing yourself to eat what you really like as often as possible.
Mind blown? Pour yourself a big jug of coffee, subscribe to my content and let me tell you how this works. I promise you a sky-high ROI (return of investment).
