Back from holidays
I said I wasn’t going to write anything in August, but I couldn’t stay away from the keyboard.
I went on holidays for a few days in Constanta, Romania. It’s awesome. You should try it too.
What I did on holiday, in short? I slept between 10 and 12 hours a day, I ate a lot of fish and I walked a lot.
On my last day of vacation I went to see a movie, I had some popcorn and then some sushi.
It’s not like I strayed from my “diet”.
I go to the movies every weekend and I have some popcorn. About two times per month I have sushi (yes, the one with rice).
I am very glad to inform you I haven’t even touched sugar.
Still, on my last vacation evening, I had some high protein, no-sugar chocolate.
✅ ON A DIET
Most people think that, once on a diet, they have to give up something.
I eat almost anything. Some foods I eat daily, some foods only on the weekends, some two times a month.
The only thing that changes is the frequency with which I eat certain foods. Nothing is forbidden, there are no good and bad foods.
Look what I ate while I was on vacation:
All you can see above is “diet” food.
All that’s missing: bread, fries, sweets, alcohol. (As in, I had no fillers and no junk)
For example, I only eat polenta or mashed potatoes on vacation, I never cook them at home. I stopped buying maize or potatoes for 15 years already.
And in the end, why should I eat bread and chips when I can have an extra serving of fish?
Which is exactly what I’ve done.

✅ BACK HOME
I had coffee with some sweetener in the morning and I waited for hunger to kick in.
Around 12 PM I took out 5 meatballs from my freezer and stuck them for 12 minutes into the AirFryer.

In the meantime, I made another round of coffee and I chopped some tomatoes.
Here is how I had a nice, hot, delicious, clean, compliant, low-calorie meal of 50 grams of protein and 500 grams of vegetables.
The entire process was extremely easy, fast and pleasant. Effective cooking time: 2 minutes (while I chopped the tomatoes).
What you do on vacation matters a bit less, what truly matters is what you do AFTER getting back from vacation.
You’re back from vacation? Go back to the dietary guidelines and routines that help you stay fit and healthy.
You have a choice: go back to your good routine, or the weight will come back.
